Short Animation

Monsoon Blue — Ellis Kayin Chan and Jay Wong | 2024 | 14:09

The dream of a goldfish to return into its wild form uproars her long-forgotten memories, and a self-conscious monsoon is about to be uninhibited.

Survival HK — Louise Pau | 2019 | 7:06

An english listening test takes place inside a small classroom while a typhoon brews outside. The students struggle to focus between the test recording and what happens beyond the test.

Telsche — Sophie Colfer and Ala Nunu | 2023 | 8:20

Set on vast salt flats under dark clouds, Telsche is an abstract short film about memory and loss, and the journey that one girl takes to remember someone who she has forgotten.

Ice Merchants — João Gonzalez | 2022 | 14:33

The first Portuguese film to ever be nominated for an Academy Award, Ice Merchants features the story of a father and his son, who jump with a parachute from their clifftop house every day to sell ice to the village far away on the ground.

Hand — Tsz-Wing Ho | 2021 | 5:15

Hand is a 2D digital abstract animation that presents the weird beauty of hand creatures composed of gestures, geometric shapes and abstract patterns in order to create a surreal journey for the audience. The creatures undergo different transformations such as phenakistoscopes in synchrony with the song, “Sekktortjek Ft. Tone” by Mads Lindgren.
